Mahesh Bhatt Enters Bigg Boss 5

Mahesh Bhatt entered the Bigg Boss 5 House yesterday to offer the show’s newest entrant, Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone, the role of the leading lady for Jism 2, that his daughter Pooja Bhatt is producing and directing. “Pooja had suggested that we approach Sunny when she saw her on 

the show and read about her in the newspapers. 

She feels that the girl has the willingness and the right mix of looks and acting skills needed for the role. If our needs match, she may just agree,” says Mahesh, who is writing the film’s story and script, and is the creative force behind the project.

He adds, “I don’t want to pre-suppose her reaction to our offer because even friends in Bollywood can give you the biggest jolts in terms of reactions to an offer you make to them. She is free to say no. I’m just going inside for a couple of hours and hopefully, will return with some great news for Pooja.” 

The filmmaker admits he is in talks with actors Bipasha Basu, who played the leading lady in Jism and Mallika Sherawat, who played the leading lady in Murder. The story of Jism revolves around a small-town woman whose life moves from gutters to glory. There’s also room for two male leads. “It’s a story of redemption. 

It’s bold story of a woman who makes it big on her terms. Sunny has a tantalising image. My central character could marry her real personality with something I have in mind. And it could turn out to be an unbelievable product,” says Mahesh, who doesn’t intend to participate in the reality show. 

His son Rahul, a celebrity gym trainer, had participated in one of the earlier seasons of Bigg Boss. “Life is the biggest reality show that I can be a part of. I don’t need to be on a show like this to have my creative juices flowing,” he says. “I’m always living on the edge. I’m using this show as a platform to present to Sunny and the world what I have in mind for Jism 2.”
